I remember walking across the quad when I was a freshman in high school on a dark and rainy day. All of a sudden I stepped on one of those pieces of concrete that gets really slick when it gets wet. Yep, you guessed it, both feet flew straight out from under me and I fell in a puddle of water. It seemed like the entire world was staring at me. I just wanted to crawl in a hole and never have to face anyone again.

Purpose and Vision
Our purpose through Exit 83 is to walk with young people in a way that will demonstrate how intimate our relationship with God can be. We desire to get students to understand that God has made them with an awesome purpose for their life, and that walking with God is much more about the relationship that he wants to have with us than it is about being sure not to break the rules.
Our vision is that every student that walks through the door is made aware of three things:
1. God loves them and wants to do tremendous things in and through their lives.
2. This is a safe place where they can be real with the struggles that they are going through, and know that there will always be someone there that will listen, pray, and care for them.
3. We are glad that they're here. This is a family gathering and each time a person comes we want it to be as though they have just entered our home as an important guest.
