Exit 83 Youth Ministries

I remember the first time I walked onto a jr. high campus as a teenager. It was one of the scariest days of being an adolescent. I was nervous and it seemed that nothing could go right that day. I spent most of the day trying to find my way on a new campus, arriving late for classes, had my locker broken into and books thrown in to the middle of the quad, and even had my tires flattened on my bike. 

As I entered high school, I remember struggling with some big questions like, is God real? Why does He let bad things happen if He is? Do I really matter?

Adolescence can be a time where students are going through changes as they seek to find out who they are and what they believe. Here at Exit 83 we are committed to helping students come to know, love, trust, and follow Jesus with their own lives. We strive to provide opportunities of community, growth, and service. Purpose & Vision
Our purpose through Exit 83 is to walk with young people in a way that will demonstrate how intimate our relationship with God can be. We desire to get students to understand that God has made them with an awesome purpose for their life, and that walking with God is much more about the relationship that he wants to have with us than it is about being sure not to break the rules.

Our vision is that every student that walks through the door is made aware of three things:

1. God loves them and wants to do tremendous things in and through their lives.

2. This is a safe place where they can be real with the struggles that they are going through, and know that there will always be someone there that will listen, pray, and care for them.

3. We are glad that they're here. This is a family gathering and each time a person comes we want it to be as though they have just entered our home as an important guest.
