At times life can become difficult, painful and burdensome. As the old spiritual says, “nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen,” there are times when every person experiences significant loss, hurt, and/or disappointment. Often, it is at these times that life can become extremely confusing as well. During these times, we need to experience God’s presence along with consolation and encouragement from each other, and direction for our lives.
