Men, we have the privilege of being leaders in our families and in our workplace. But sometimes that responsibility can feel like a burden. Men’s Ministry at LBF is meant to encourage and equip you to be a man of God in every area of life. This happens through deepening your relationship with God, figuring out how to understand the Bible and live out its teachings, getting to know other guys, and just having a good time. Whether we are trap shooting, shooting hoops, or studying the Bible, our desire is to be the men God is calling us to be.
How to Get Connected
Getting connected with other guys at LBF is easy:
If you want to focus on growing spiritually with other guys, check out the Men’s Huddle Wednesday Morning Bible Study or Men’s Wednesday Night Bible Study.
If you want to focus on growing spiritually while specifically addressing moral purity issues like lust & pornography, integrity at work, and marital faithfulness, check out Band of Brothers or try a men’s accountability group.
If you are looking to simply have fun and meet some new people come out for any of our special events: Men’s Basketball, trap shoots, Men’s Breakfasts, Men’s Retreat in Forest Falls, Kern River Rafting Trip, and more.

Men’s Retreat
Friday-Sunday in April
Below are testimonials from last year's retreat. You don't want to miss this chance to connect with God and other men!
“This was my 5th year attending the Men's Conference and every year God has spoken volumes to me with the speakers that he has brought to Forest Homes. The peaceful back drop of the mountains has allowed me to see things that God needs me to see to bring me along to where he wants me to be. You can never truly know the sound of God until you get away from the noise of the world." - David Lawrence
“The men's retreat at Forest Home is an incredible opportunity to leave the world behind for 3 days, and get closer to God than you may have ever been. You will meet and fellowship with positive Christian men. You will hear some of most gifted speakers deliver a message you will not soon forget. You will worship with and feel the Holy Spirit move amongst several hundred men who are on fire for Jesus Christ. When I came down the hill, I felt better equipped to be the husband, the father, and the man that God intended me to be.” - Aaron M Hudson
“The LBF Men's Retreat at Forest Home was a time for me to have only one thing to do - spend as much time as I could with the men. For me it was a time where I got to know our men better and they got to know me better. This is an important time for the men in our church that reaps of friendship throughout the entire year." - Pastor Gary Keith
"As a new believer I was hesitant in going to last year's retreat. After experiencing the compassion, understanding and support from all the men that weekend, I look forward to returning to fellowship with familiar faces, and hopefully new ones too." - Manny Lucero
