Weekend Services

LBF offers five weekend worship services. Four of these services are all the same, comprised of contemporary worship music followed by strong Biblical teaching. How can I serve in worship? How can I serve during the weekend services?

Our Overdrive Service utilizes the same Biblical teaching, however the enivornment and worship music is described as a bit more edgy (more electric guitar, sub woofer, and overall louder).

Saturday: 7-8:15 p.m. This service tends to be smaller in attendance averaging 125 per service. "His Kids" Children's Ministry Program is available for 3 year olds through 6th grade during this service. Meets in the Worship Center

Sunday: 8-9:15 a.m. This service tends to be smaller in attendance averaging 125 per service. A full "His Kids" Children's Ministry Program is available during this service. Meets in the Worship Center

Message Series

God How Could You?

Have you ever talked with God over the question of injustice? Have you ever asked yourself how people get away with evil and God seems to do nothing? Guess what? You are not the first person to ask God about injustice. The Old Testament prophet, Habakkuk, asked God those same exact questions. He was upset over the fact that everywhere he looked he saw wrongdoing and injustice and violence. In his questions before God, Habakkuk struggles with what he knows to be true about God’s character, alongside God’s apparent tolerance of the violence and injustice that abound around him.

As a spokesman for a country in crisis, Habakkuk had major issues with God's discipline method. Just where was He when they needed Him most? Why wasn't He doing anything about the injustices that threatened His people? Was He fair? Was He trustworthy? Did He abandon His people? In this series from the book of Habakkuk, we’ll ask the question, “God How Could You?” We’ll learn the answers that God gives Habakkuk and see how they fit into our culture today.

September 20-21: God, How Could You Ignore Me? Habakkuk 1:1-17

September 27-28: God, How Could You Let That Happen? Habakkuk 2:1-20

October 4-5: God, How Could You Be Okay With That? Habakukk 3:1-16

October 11-12: God, How Could You Let Me Struggle? Habakkuk 3:17-19
