Home Groups

Home Groups are small groups of people who get together every week or two to eat, pray, encourage each other spiritually, and have fun. Some groups do a Bible study connected with the weekend messages, some study a book of the Bible, and some read through a book together. Groups meet on different days and times and new people are always welcome. We also launch new groups at least twice a year. Interested in leading or hosting a home group?

Home Groups

Below is a comprehensive list of Home Groups and Specialty Groups at LBF, organized by the day on which they meet.

Show me Home Groups that meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Sunday. Show me Specialty Groups.

Feel free to contact the leader of the Home Group directly, or sign up for a Home Group today!

Monday
Keeping Christ in Our Hearts, Homes, and Kitchens!
A Bible Study for young mothers. Teaching the love for God’s Word and how to keep Christ in our hearts, homes, and kitchens: “...such as bringing up children, showing hospitality, washing the feet of saints, helping those in trouble, and devoting herself to all kinds of good deeds” (1 Timothy 5:10). We will have hands-on practical cooking, hospitality, and family traditions taught along with a Bible study to help moms become all that God designed them to be.

This is a home group for young families. If you were born in the ’70s, if your kids are pre-kindergarten, if you want to connect with other Gen-X parents – this is the group for you. Our hope is to come together twice a month, support one another, get to know each other, and learn how to become better husbands, wives, and parents. This home group is for the whole family! There is a large living room that is perfect for lots of kids. Once we begin meeting we will decide as a group whether to pay someone to watch the kids, or take turns watching the kids.

What in the World is Going on?
A study of current events and how they relate to the end times. This is a group for all stages of Christian walks. It will be a safe, real place to seek answers that concern all of us with regard to the current events we are now living in. We will intentionally reserve a time at every meeting for questions and answers, where no question will ever be considered “dumb” or embarrassing. I look forward to our time of worship, study, and building up of one another in the love of our Lord Jesus.

A Quilter's Prayer
Whether you’ve quilted for 25 years or would love to learn how to quilt, we have the group for you. Making a quilt is not just a blanket, it’s a tangible expression of God’s love. It’s a gift that blesses others, but will bless you as you make it as well. We meet for fellowship, friendship, sewing, and prayer. If you or someone you know is facing a difficult time in their life and you think he/she would be blessed to receive a quilt, please call or make note on your weekend K.I.T. card. We make quilts for men, women, and children. They do not have to attend LBF to benefit from this gift.
