Serve
We come to church to grow in our love, knowledge, and
relationship with Jesus Christ. We
gather together, worship, pray, and learn. In this, it can be easy to overlook
that Jesus came to serve us. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served,
but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” Mark 10:45 NIV.
This
scripture is not a call to serve Jesus, but a call to be served by
Jesus. This is the radical call to Christian discipleship—that we are being
“served” by Jesus as we serve others.
As you look at these opportunities in
front of you to serve, remember that as we serve, it not only reflects who Jesus
is, but it gives Jesus the opportunity to serve us and make Himself better known.
Do you want to get to know Jesus better? Then here’s a great way…serve.
Below that are ways you can serve.

Let’s not wait for Upland to find LBF. We’re looking for energetic folks to bring LBF to Upland at the farmer’s market! Sign up on your K.I.T. card. Email Phil Shahbaz for info.
