This Weekend's Message...
How do you feel about surveys? Most people view them as an inconvenient, but for the ones trying to collect information they are invaluable. Wouldn't it be interesting if we could get some consumer feedback on our lives from the people who experience us everyday? Wouldn't it be helpful to know where we need to troubleshoot and what kind of impact we are making? It might also be kind of scary and disappointing to get that kind of feedback too.
This week we are going to be talking about customer reviews as we wrap up our Life in HD series. We are going to look at how to get the kinds of reviews that God expects His followers to receive. And we are also going to look at what the Father Himself will review in our life when its all over. Be sure to mark your calendar, get your lawn chairs ready, and don’t forget your sunglasses! We’ll kick things off right after the 11 a.m. service. Show off your wheels at the all-church picnic! Contact Bob Myers @ 981-4848, ext. 247 to register your car! (Cars from 1975 or older.)  We're looking for friendly faces with hearts to serve both people and coffee. We'll work around your schedules and train you. The shifts are just about an hour each. Specifically, we are looking for people who can serve during our 11AM Sunday Service. It is also a great way to meet new people and get connected. There will be projects and opportunities for your entire family to serve, and even serve together. Let's reach out to our community through Serve Day.  VBS 2008: Power Lab Sunday, July 13-Friday, July 18 6-8:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to reach out to your friends. Invite them to take part in VBS this year. It's free, it gives parents a little break in the summer, and kids love it. Tell a Friend about VBS! Click here and you can send your friend a personalized email with all the details, inviting them to VBS! Online preregistration is now closed, but you can still download a registration form and bring it the first night of VBS.

 Exit 83 High School Summer Camp: Sunday, July 13-Friday, July 18 There will be boats for wakeboarding, water skiing, and tubing, as well as a beach for smash ball, volleyball, and other fun activities! We’ll have an awesome worship leader and an equally awesome guest speaker to round out the week. Call Dan Jepson @ 981-4848, ext. 232 or Jeff Taylor @ 981-4848, ext. 227 if you have any questions.  Jr. High Summer Camp: Sunday, July 13-Friday, July 18 This year we are not returning to Hume Lake due to cost. Instead, weare planning our very own summer surf camp. We will camp at San EliloState Beach and are contracting surf lessons from Eli Howard’s surfschool. Contact Matt Sasso @ 981-4848, ext. 233 for more info.
